THE FARADAY PROJECT wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects and will accept any defective item for refund or exchange within 30 days of your receipt of the merchandise.

Defective or unworn merchandise must be returned within 30 days of your receipt for either exchange or refund. Returned or exchanged merchandise must be returned new and unused with all original tags still attached. Exchange for like items will be shipped to you via standard ground shipping at no additional cost. Merchandise that has been altered or tailored in any manner cannot be returned or exchanged.

Only merchandise purchased from will be accepted for returns or exchanges. Merchandise purchased from other specialty stores or department stores must be returned to the store from which it was originally purchased.

Receiving Your RMA

  1. Sign into your account and under My Orders, select the order number containing the items you would like to return.
  2. Click on the ‘CREATE A RETURN/EXCHANGE’ button and choose the reason why you want to send your item(s) back. If an item is faulty, please provide details why.
  3. If you would like to exchange an item because the fit is not right, choose the replacement size.
  4. To request a refund, select how you would like to be credited. This needs to match the original payment method used. Please note, store credit is valid for one year from issue date.
  5. Check the box to agree with our Return Policy. You will then receive an email containing your RMA number.

Arranging A Free Collection

Returns can be collected from your home, work or alternative address. It is that easy…

  1. Sign into your account and under My Orders, select the order number containing the items you would like to return.
  2. Click on the CREATE A RETURN/EXCHANGE button and follow the steps.
  3. Check the box to agree with our Returns Policy. We will then send you an email containing your RMA number.
  4. Book a free collection with DHL, by calling +44 (0)844 248 0844 or visiting and selecting your country to find the telephone number of your nearest DHL branch.
  5. Sign the returns proforma invoice that you received with your order (and fill in the DHL air waybill if applicable).

We recommend that items are returned from the same country to which they were delivered. This ensures that your return is covered by our free returns policy and reaches us promptly. Orders sent back from a different destination may incur additional charges or be delayed by customs.

Return or exchange instructions without using our prepaid return label at your expense

  1. You can send the merchandise back to us using any traceable shipping method, at your expense. We recommend using a carrier who will provide your package with a tracking number to ensure that your package does not get lost. Packages must be returned prepaid. We are unable to accept return COD, and THE FARADAY PROJECT will not issue a refund for return shipping costs if you choose to return at your own expense.
  2. Complete the return form included in your package, or log into your account and follow the appropriate steps to print another copy.
  3. Pack and seal your box securely, in the original package if possible.

If you are returning a gift that was purchased on this website, please contact our Customer Service Department at Please have your order number ready before getting back to us (order number is stated on the packing slip). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you do choose to return the gift item, an email will be sent to you with a new credit code.


Once your package has been received, your refund or exchange will be processed within 7 business days. If there is a refund due, a credit will be issued in the original form of payment.

The credit my not show up until your credit card’s next monthly billing cycle. Your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us.
